Why Pay More?

If you watch TV, this is a phrase you've heard many times to get you to buy something.  "They sell it for $500, we sell it for $79.99!  Why pay more?!"

Companies slap that phrase on the cheap version of a product that is usually far more expensive.

As if paying more was always a bad idea.

I've fallen for it too many times myself, and bought the cheapest version of a product.  We once had a blender that would give you an electric shock when pressing the puree button.  We had to fill it up, cover it, press Puree, *then* plug it in to avoid electrocution.

It makes me think of another often-used phrase: "You get what you pay for."

It's what I mumble to myself when the "why pay more" product stops working after a day.  If you're like me, you've learned (the hard way) that paying less for an inferior product is both a waste of time and money.

People are willing to invest more in what is important to them.

Check out the iPhone X, for example. Some people see no point in spending over a thousand dollars on a smartphone if they just want to make and receive calls. You can do that with any free phone.

But, others are willing to invest in a premium phone because the experience and quality that comes with a top-tier phone is important to them.  It's worth paying more for a superior product.

Likewise, great photography is important to us.  And of course, you wouldn't be here if it wasn't important to you!

We know you have a large range of choices when it comes to photography.  There are thousands of inexperienced photographers offering subpar work at bargain prices to make a quick buck on a slow weekend.

There are $499 wedding companies that will sub-contract a photographer that you will never meet or talk to until the morning of the wedding, when they call to say they can't make it.  I'm not making this up - I've seen the reviews on some of these volume-based wedding businesses. Awful.

So, why pay more?  The answer is obvious. Quality. Experience. Reliability. Service... The list goes on.  Your wedding is the last place you want to learn this lesson the hard way.

We (and many other honest, talented photographers) offer our services and products at a premium price because we offer an exceptionally high-quality experience and superior products that are made to last a lifetime and beyond.

When you choose to invest with us, you can have the confidence that we'll deliver on every promise, because we've done it consistently, for hundreds of clients and many thousands of pictures, for nearly a decade.  You can expect an experience worth every penny of its asking price, and more.
